Suisun Valley AVA is one of California wine country’s best-kept secrets. Some of the new wineries date back to the late 1800s but planting only began to steadily expand during the last 20 years and surged during the 1990s most recently welcoming Caymus wines who are building a 200,000- gallon-a-year winery in Suisun Valley that will include a tasting room and an event center. It is 10 times larger than any other winery in the valley, and that is on top of its existing Cordelia bottling operation.
